Personal Information You Choose to Share
Throughout you may have the opportunity to send emails, request information, register for programs or events, participate in online surveys or contests and other promotions sponsored by us. If you choose to participate, you may be providing EC and/or third parties with some type of personal information.

You can be assured that if you choose to provide any personal information to us, EC will use it only for the purposes specified here and at the time of collection. Additionally, usage information may be aggregated and analyzed so that we can judge our system's performance. In addition, we will use it to respond to your requests, and to notify you of updated information, changes to the Site or, with your permission, new products and services we think may be of interest.

EC will not share information with governmental authorities unless legally required to do so. EC may cooperate with such authorities in investigating claims of illegal activity such as (but not limited to) illegal transfer of copyrighted material, or user website postings or email messages that contain threats of violence. We do not sell or rent any data collected about or from you, or provide access to such data to anyone outside of EC other than you, except as described above.

When an application accepts credit cards or any other particularly sensitive information for any of its services, it encrypts all ordering information, such as your name and credit card number, in order to protect its confidentiality., through the proprietary software and hosting environment of CS Networks Inc., incorporates a security model that includes software to ensure the protection of private information communication within the Site. This technology, when combined with good security policies and common sense, makes a secure and trustworthy Site for your use.

Communications & Security
EC has put some security measures in place to ensure the secure transmission and management of all information within the system and to protect the loss, misuse and alteration of the information under our control.

In addition, EC may provide public forums such as message boards, bulletin boards, discussion groups or chat rooms. Please remember that any information that is disclosed in these areas becomes public information and you should exercise caution when deciding to disclose your personal information.

Links to Other Sites & Third Party Consent
When you leave the EC Portal environment, the privacy statements of the third party will apply. EC is not responsible for the privacy practices or the content of such websites. Should you find a link from or to any other website in the EC environment that you feel is inappropriate, do not hesitate to contact us immediately.

You should note that every request for personal information from EC will contain an name identification logo. If you do not see such a logo on the form requesting personal information from you, you should know that you have left. At that point, a third party web site is gathering personal information from you and the privacy policy of the third party website will apply.

Privacy & Protection of Information

Some applications may use "cookies." A cookie is a small data file that certain web sites write to your hard drive when you visit them. A cookie file can contain information such as a USER ID that the site used to track the pages you have visited.
